As my name suggests, I live with not one, THREE small but mighty dogs also known as Corgis or "The Queen's Dogs." My dogs, unlike the Queen's, are trained, and I am not breeding them to Dachshunds to create weak-backed, short legged Dorgis. Why....? Don't get me started!

I am a librarian by trade and avocation and am currently taking a sabbatical from life in the cubicle jungle. Like so many other mid-to-late 40 yuppies, I am looking for meaningful work that will allow me to live a comfortably material life, provide opportunity for free expression and creativity, and meld social consciousness with convenience. Necessities in my life are my spouse, my cat, the Corgis three, reading, and perfectly brewed mugs of tea. Things that keep me amused are cooking, molding chocolates in various and sundry shapes with assorted flavors, riding my Electra Townie around the neighborhood, making jewelry, and engaging in various and sundry needle arts: notably knitting, crochet and counted cross stitch.

I'm joining LiveJournal because my friend said I should and I love to write and hey, maybe it will lead to the next level of enlightenment. Is anyone reading this stuff? No idea.
